Alice in Wonderland

Think you know Alice in Wonderland? Think again! Salem Community Theatre is bringing you a wonderfully WILD version of the classic tale based on Lewis Carroll’s original story and Alice Gerstenberg’s 1915 stage adaptation. This is not the Disney version you grew up with—there are no familiar musical numbers or animated characters here. Instead, you’re invited into a delightfully strange Wonderland filled with curious characters, absurd situations, wordplay, and the wonderfully nonsensical world that made Alice a timeless classic.

Follow Alice as she tumbles into a world where nothing quite makes sense, everyone has something peculiar to say, and you never know what—or WHO—you’ll encounter next!

From the Mad Hatter to the Queen of Hearts and all the wonderfully odd characters in between, this production is full of imagination, comedy, surprises, and a healthy dose of Wonderland chaos.
