All-Abilities Swim specializes in teaching individuals that learn differently how to swim.
All-Abilities Swim Instructors use the Swim Angelfish Methodology to overcome the 14 universal roadblocks to learning to swim with science and therapeutic backed approaches. Children with Anxiety, water trauma, and special needs benefit the most from this type of teaching. Neuro-typical individuals are also served. Lessons start at 18 months - Adults. Currently private instruction is offered.
All-Abilities Swim also hosts multiple sensory-friendly family swims throughout the year through partnerships with organizations like CCBDD and Autism Society of Mahoning Valley.
Lessons are taught all over the tri-county area.
All-Abilities Swim is founded by Caroline McDermott-Ritenour. Coach Caroline is a Salem HS alumni who was a state-level swimmer in High School. Coach Caroline founded the Piranha Aquatics program where she was head coach for 10 years before transitioning to working with this population full time.
