Trolley Ghost Tours

The Salem Historical Society Presents — Step aboard the historic Quakertown Trolley for an eerie journey beyond downtown Salem, where forgotten spaces in graveyards, shadowy corners, and reportedly haunted locations hold stories that refuse to rest. As darkness settles over the city, your guide, Sally Renee, will lead you through chilling true tales of ghostly encounters, unexplained happenings, and events that have left their mark on Salem’s history. Some stories are best heard after dark… and some places are best approached with a little caution. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes, as there will be opportunities to step off the trolley and explore select locations firsthand.

Join us for an unforgettable ride through Salem’s haunted past, where the line between history and the unexplained grows a little thinner with every stop. After all, not every soul has left the places they once called home.

Meet your guide, Sally Renee, a vocalist, actress, director, and educator with a passion for storytelling in all its forms. She teaches choir, maintains a private voice studio, and constantly fills her free time with theatre, music, and books. A lifelong lover of history, mystery, and a good story, Sally Renee brings her performance background to Salem’s ghost tour, blending local history, folklore, humor, and a healthy respect for the unknown. She believes the best stories don’t simply tell us what happened; they make us wonder what might have happened.
