The city of Salem and the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce have joined forces – creating the downtown Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). A DORA allows people to drink alcohol from cups specifically for use in a set area outside, so they can walk around freely while enjoying participating shops and events.
DORA Days & Hours: Noon to 10 PM every Thursday thru Saturday, unless a special event is approved.
PARTICIPANTS: American Slovak Club, BB Rooners, Boneshakers/Timberlanes LTD, Coaches, Ezio’s, Fernengels Tavern, Flying Pig Saloon, Independent Hose Club, Italian American Club, Liebe Wein, Mike’s Penn Ave Grille, Quaker Steak & Lube, Rancho Viejo & Patio, Ricky’s English Pub and The Foundry.
